NDIS Pricing Arrangements

Transparency, Fairness, and Compliance in Every Service.

The NDIS Pricing Arrangements (formerly known as the NDIS Price Guide) set the maximum prices that registered providers can charge for specific supports. These limits are designed to ensure that participants receive value for money and that their funding lasts throughout their plan.

Understanding the NDIS Pricing Framework

The NDIA reviews and updates pricing annually (usually on July 1st) to reflect changes in the cost of living, wages, and market conditions. Understanding these limits helps you manage your budget effectively.

1. Reasonable and Necessary Support

The NDIS only funds supports that are directly related to your disability and help you achieve your goals. Our pricing reflects these “Reasonable and Necessary” benchmarks to ensure your plan remains sustainable.

2. Price Caps & Limits

For many services, such as Support Coordination or Personal Care, there is a maximum hourly rate. CareLinc ensures that our service agreements clearly outline these rates so there are no hidden fees or surprises.

3. Travel & Transport Costs

In some cases, providers may charge for travel time to reach your home. We follow NDIS guidelines for “Provider Travel” to ensure these costs are fair and capped according to the specific regional or metro limits applicable to your location.

While the NDIS provides a broad framework, we have developed a simplified guide to help you understand how these costs apply to CareLinc’s specific services, including Home & Community Care and Supported Independent Living (SIL).

The Australian government heavily subsidizes most aged care expenses through funding packages. However, depending on your financial assessment, you may be required to pay a basic daily fee or an income-tested care fee. Private care services are paid out-of-pocket.
Generally, Australians aged 65 years or older (and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 50 or older) who need assistance with daily living are eligible for government-funded aged care services.
You must complete a standard assessment process through the government’s My Aged Care portal. Evaluators will determine if you meet the requirements for daily living assistance.
