Helper FAQs

Requirements vary depending on the type of support you wish to provide:

  • Domestic & Social Support: Prior experience and a compassionate nature are key. While formal qualifications aren’t always mandatory, a Certificate III in Individual Support is highly regarded.

  • Personal & Clinical Care: For these specialized services, relevant qualifications (such as Cert III, Cert IV, or a Nursing degree) and valid certifications are required.

  • General Essentials: All Helpers must have a reliable smartphone with data, a valid ABN (Australian Business Number), and the legal right to work in Australia.

While not always mandatory, having a reliable vehicle and a valid Australian Driver’s License is highly preferred as it allows you to assist clients with community access and appointments.
To ensure the safety of our community, all helpers must undergo a National Police Check and hold (or be willing to obtain) an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Let’s get you the right support.
